Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift (6:30p–7a), with a 36-hour week and weekend/holiday/call rotation. Responsible for delivering clinically appropriate respiratory care per medical staff guidance for patients from neonate to adult, with ongoing documentation and plan updates.

Requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care, CRT license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within 6 months of hire. Sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care required.
• Licensure as CRT (National Board) required at time of hire.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Perform routine modalities of respiratory care and document in patient records.
• Update care plans and goals to reflect patient needs.
• Communicate with care team and provide progress reports.
