Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients across neonate to adult populations. You will perform routine modalities and document care under physician orders, ensuring timely, protocol-driven therapy and quality outcomes.

The role requires an Associate degree with Respiratory Care certification, CRT licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS within 6 months. Sign-on bonus available and a supportive team environment within a major Omaha hospital.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with Respiratory Care certificate required.
• CRT certification required at time of hire.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory patients with acute and chronic illnesses and deliver prescribed care.
• Document procedures and patient progress in the medical information system.
• Update patient care plans to reflect changes in condition and goals.
• Communicate with the care team to coordinate treatment and outcomes.
• Ensure protocol-guided therapy and participate in quality improvement efforts.
