BayCare Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mease Countryside Hospital in the Tampa Bay area. The role requires delivering respiratory care per physician orders, with emphasis on patient-centered service and teamwork.

Responsibilities include performing invasive and noninvasive procedures, diagnostic testing, and supporting adult critical care. Strong certifications and a commitment to ongoing education are essential for success.

Qualifications

• RRT Respiratory Therapy License required.
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT.
• CPR certification required.
• NRP within 6 months.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Respiratory Care Services per physician orders.
• Perform noninvasive and invasive procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and manage emergency/adult critical care.

Position Details

• Shift Hours: 6:30AM - 7:00PM
• Shift: Days
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

Responsibilities Include

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care

Certifications and Licensures

Required
