Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, cuff pressure, and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement, initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient responses, notify providers, and intervene as needed.
• Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergencies, ensuring airway and ventilation during resuscitation.

Qualifications

• Certificate: State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, CRTT or Licensed CRT or RRT/RCP.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
