Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory needs and response to therapy.
• Administer therapies such as oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient responses and intervene as needed.
• Transport ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergencies, ensuring airway and ventilation during resuscitation.

Qualifications required:

• Certificate and State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or CRTT or Licensed RRT/RCP.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, with BCLS instructor status obtained within 30 days of employment.
