Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform and document patient assessments including breath sounds, airway, and cuff pressure.
• Administer respiratory therapies like oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response, notify providers, and intervene as needed.
• Assist with transporting ventilator-dependent patients.
• Respond to emergencies, ensuring airway and ventilation during resuscitation.

Qualifications

• State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or CRTT
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
