Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsibilities include performing and documenting patient assessments, administering respiratory therapies, assisting with artificial airway placement, initiating and monitoring mechanical ventilation, and responding to emergent situations.

Qualifications Needed

• Certificate
• State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or State Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT), or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
