This role emphasizes safe ventilation management, patient education, equipment maintenance, and infection control, with stable scheduling and opportunities to advance within a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT or RRT/RCP-State certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status by performing focused exams and interpreting breath sounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy with oxygen, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airways with invasive and noninvasive ventilation as needed.
• Educate patients and families; serve as clinical resource to team; assist with newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain and safely operate respiratory equipment; ensure readiness and infection-prevention standards.
