Qualifications

• Must obtain ACLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain BCLS within 60 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain PALS within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and perform focused exams.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for oxygen support and medications.
• Manage ventilation and assist with artificial airway placement.
• Educate patients and families as a clinical resource.
• Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure safety standards.

Skills

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)

State-approved Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner certification

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Education

Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or relevant field
