Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care across hospital units. You will manage oxygen delivery, operate ventilators, and implement prescribed therapies for critically ill patients.

The role requires NBRC‑registered credentials, state licensure, BLS certification, and strong patient communication. You will document care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Graduate from approved school of respiratory therapy.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and related equipment.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care recommendations.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and manages abnormal results.
• Works independently across patient care areas with EMR proficiency.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
