Job summary

Qualifications

• CoARC approved school completion.
• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist per NBRC.
• Louisiana licensure as Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS and ALS certifications per ILCOR.
• NICU/PICU experience with NRP and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures with understanding of equipment and patient physiology.
• Ensure proper indications, contraindications, and safety during procedures.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.

Education

CoARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy/Cardiopulmonary Science

NBRC Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist

Louisiana licensure as Respiratory Therapist

BLS and ALS certifications per ILCOR courses

NICU and PICU experience with NRP and PALS preferred
