Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for a day shift (6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

The role involves delivering respiratory care to stabilize and treat patients across CCU, NICU, and open heart recovery, with a strong emphasis on patient outcomes. Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems.
• Arranges and operates oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications for patients.
• Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients.
• Cleans and checks equipment regularly and records therapy data in patient records.
