Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka/Plymouth, IN is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. The position supports 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage and holiday rotation.

You will deliver respiratory care, operate therapy devices, and document patient progress. Requirements include an AMA-accredited program, Indiana licensure, NBRC RRT certification, and experience in Critical Care or NICU.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems.
• Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients.
• Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients.
• Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.
