Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a supportive team. You will provide respiratory therapy to stabilize and improve patient outcomes, operating oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and related equipment in a high-acuity setting.

Our department emphasizes learning and development, with opportunities to travel between Mishawaka and Plymouth locations, and a focus on teamwork, patient care, and professional growth within Indiana's hospital system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems.
• Operates oxygen and other therapeutic devices and administers medications as prescribed.
• Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records therapy data in patient records.
