Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Indiana seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver focused respiratory care across critical care settings. You will stabilize and treat respiratory conditions, manage ventilator and humidity systems, and document therapies to support patient recovery within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold Indiana licensure and NBRC RRT credentials, with experience in ICU, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and bronchoscopy preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates mechanical devices aiding recovery. Cleans and checks equipment and records data in patient records.
