Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (PRN) to support patient care across emergency, critical care and acute settings. You will deliver oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and inhaled medications, while applying evidence-based practice and infection control.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• State license/credential as Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP).
• NBRC-RRT certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, medications, airway clearance and other therapies across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, adjust as needed and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses, assist with neonatal deliveries when needed.
• Maintain equipment and uphold infection-prevention standards.
