Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the St. Mary’s Campus LTC Ventilator Unit in Rochester, NY. The role supports acute and sub-acute care and requires 36 hours per week as scheduled 7:00 am–7:30 pm with every other weekend rotation and no on-call.

The successful candidate will assess, treat, educate, and collaborate with providers to deliver high-quality respiratory care while maintaining equipment and cost-effective practices.

Qualifications

• AS in respiratory therapy or equivalent required.
• NYS license as RT or RTT with NBRC RRT credentials required.
• Strong communication and clinical excellence required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high clinical standards in respiratory therapy as ordered.
• Demonstrate competency across modalities and equipment in acute and subacute care.
• Participate in ongoing education and in-service training.
• Support department improvement, policies, and equipment selection.
• Participate in intradepartmental committees.
