Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to perform a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both adults and neonates. You will manage ventilator support, ABG analysis, PFTs, and oxygen therapy under the supervision of the medical director.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, Texas licensure, NBRC registration, and active BLS/ACLS; ACLS required, NRP/PALS within 1 year.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with licensure in Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required; NRP/PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas Medical Board license in good standing and NBRC credentials are required.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapies including oxygen administration, aerosols, and ventilation support.
• Perform ABG, PFTs, chest physiotherapy, and bedside assessments per protocols.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data; report findings to the care team.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of cardiopulmonary equipment; ensure safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with team to optimize patient comfort and outcomes.
