Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide bedside respiratory care including ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support for adults and neonates.

The role requires current TX license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, and a minimum of 6 months experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Work is performed under medical director supervision in a full-time, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Performs ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support under indirect supervision.
• Proficient in respiratory assessment and treatment of adults and neonates.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and quality assurance.
• Interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data and documents findings.
• Ensures equipment readiness and bedside respiratory care delivery.
