Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Georgia. The role involves patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, blood gas analysis, and education for patients and families.

This position supports adult care areas with 7pm–7am shifts and weekend/holiday rotations. Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and current credentials such as RRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS within 60 days).

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.

Licenses and Certifications

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 Days Required
