Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to support adult care units. You will perform patient assessments, respiratory procedures, blood gas analysis, and educate patients on care plans.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and applicable certifications upon hire. The position is on-site with 7pm-7am hours and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• No experience required.
• RRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Follow protocols including critical care in adult units.
• Perform blood gas analysis and equipment maintenance.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.

Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
