Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shifts (7pm–7am) with weekend/holiday rotations. Responsibilities include patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, critical care interventions, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient education.

Education required is an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences. RRT and Georgia licensure are required upon hire, with BCLS, ACLS and PALS within 60 days of starting. No experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• RRT certification and Georgia state licensure required upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS required upon hire; PALS within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures.
• Execute critical care procedures in adult care areas and blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and manage all equipment and patient education.
