Job summary

Banyan Pulmonary Services is recruiting for a Respiratory Therapist to provide hands-on respiratory care across nearby partner facilities in Florida. You will track resident progress, adjust care plans, and collaborate with nursing and physicians to boost outcomes.

This is a travel-friendly, in-person role with a patient-focused, relationship-based care model. Expect autonomy as the respiratory lead in the building, with consistent patients and support from the back-end team for billing and

Qualifications

• Active state and national RT license in good standing (RRT or CRT).
• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current BLS (or within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS if working ventilator units (or within 6 months of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and the ability to work independently.

• Provide hands-on respiratory care — nebs, assessments, airway clearance, and more.

The role, practically

• Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
• Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
• Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day
