Job summary

Banyan Pulmonary Services is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver hands-on care across partner facilities. You will monitor residents, adjust plans over time, and collaborate with nursing and physicians to drive better outcomes.

This role emphasizes autonomy as the respiratory lead in each building. You will travel between nearby partner facilities, with shifts that may vary (FT/PRN) and a schedule that can span early to late hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state and national RT license (RRT or CRT).
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS if using ventilator units (or within 6 months).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on respiratory care — nebs, assessments, airway clearance, and more.
• Track resident progress and adjust care plans over time.
• Partner directly with nursing and physicians to improve outcomes.
• Be the respiratory expert in the building.

What You'll Do

The role, practically

• Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
• Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
• Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day
