Job summary

Banyan Pulmonary Services is seeking a respiratory therapist for travel between nearby partner facilities. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and ownership of resident outcomes, with autonomy as the respiratory lead in the building.

You will collaborate with nursing and physicians, maintain residents, and contribute to post-acute care innovations. The position requires active licenses and AMA-approved program completion, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active state and national RT license in good standing (RRT or CRT).
• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current BLS (or within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS if working ventilator units (or within 6 months of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and the ability to work independently.

The role, practically

• Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
• Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
• Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day
