Job summary

Banyan Pulmonary Services in Missouri is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for travel between nearby partner facilities. You’ll provide hands-on respiratory care, perform nebs and airway clearance, and track resident progress with autonomy and collaboration with nursing and physicians.

In this relationship-based role you’ll be the building’s respiratory expert, lead care plans over weeks and months, and contribute to better outcomes in post-acute settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved respiratory therapy program.
• Active state and national RT license in good standing (RRT or CRT).
• Current BLS (or within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS if working ventilator units (or within 6 months of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and the ability to work independently.

The role, practically

• Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
• Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
• Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day
