Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) for a travel assignment in the local area.

The role involves providing advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, with emphasis on neonatal and pediatric intensive care including Level 2 NICU. Candidates must hold Colorado RT license (DORA), NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, plus at least five years of RT experience and flu vaccination.

Qualifications

• Colorado RT license (DORA) required and NBRC RRT certification.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum five years of RT experience with Level 2 NICU.
• Experience in neonatal/pediatric intensive care essential.
• Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages.
• Ventilator management in NICU and pediatric settings.
• Work 3-12 hour night shifts, rotating call and weekends, at least 36 hours per week.
• Collaborate with NICU teams in Level 2 NICU; support busy facility.
• Prepare skill sheets and submit current AHA certifications and licenses.

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) — Available in the local area. This position involves providing advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels, including neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients. The role requires an experienced professional proficient in critical care and ventilator management to support a busy healthcare facility.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Must have a valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (DORA), NBRC RRT certification, and current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. A minimum of five years of respiratory therapy experience is required, with neonatal and pediatric intensive care experience including Level 2 NICU. Experience in neonatal and pediatric patient care is essential. Flu vaccination mandatory from October 1st through April 1st.
• Schedule: Work 3-12-hour night shifts, rotating call and weekends, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires excellent critical care and ventilator skills, with experience in neonatal and pediatric care, including Level 2 NICU. Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of RT experience and be seeking a professional traveler assignment.
