The role involves inpatient respiratory therapy across adult ICU, adult ED, pediatric ICU, and NICU level III units, with night shifts and a 16–26 week duration. Candidates must have valid RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Epic EMR experience in the last 2 years, and prior travel/teaching hospital experience.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a critical care setting. This assignment involves providing inpatient respiratory therapy services in adult intensive care, adult emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit, and neonatal intensive care unit levels III. The position requires schedule flexibility, working nights, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis for a duration of approximately 16 to 26 weeks.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts scheduled for 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, with availability from 10/19/2026 to 02/07/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RRT certification, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications. Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required upon submission. Must have recent Epic electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years. Prior travel experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience required. All specialties worked must be well documented in employment history. NICU levels must be detailed in work history entries.
• Additional Information: This is a direct staffing assignment with no block schedules; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. All work history details including bed count, electronic medical record system, and facility type are required for submission. The position involves working Monday through Sunday with no block schedule, and bi-weekly orientations beginning on 11/02. Reliable transportation, such as a personal vehicle or rental, is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
