Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in a fast-paced NICU. The role requires certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC, and minimum NICU experience; Level III NICU and Pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NICU RT experience; Level III NICU; Pediatric (PEDS) experience; NBRC Certification.
Preferred: PICU experience; Meditech EMR experience.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal patients in NICU.

Job Summary

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel assignment involves working night shifts in a specialized NICU environment, providing advanced respiratory care to neonatal patients. The role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing complex ventilator and airway situations within a fast-paced unit.

Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week

End Date: 01/11/2027
Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); minimum six months current Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience; Level III NICU experience; Pediatric (PEDS) experience; NBRC Certification
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience, including Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience; prior Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Additional Information: The unit supports adult respiratory care with equipment such as G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30 devices. Procedures include airway management, ventilator management, and emergency support. The staffing includes a mix of experienced personnel, with a focus on patient care and communication.
