Job Summary
This job is responsible for evaluating, administering, addressing, and documenting a variety of respiratory therapy treatments to ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients with heart and lung abnormalities, in assigned hospital settings including intensive care and emergency rooms. Work includes setting up and monitoring complex respiratory equipment such as ventilators for critical care patients, performing routine therapies like oxygen and aerosol treatments, and airway care including intubation and tracheotomy care. The therapist monitors patients for adverse reactions, takes corrective actions, and collaborates with physicians on treatment adjustments.

Qualifications
Education/Work Experience: Graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy program and at least one year of recent clinical experience in Respiratory Care. Specialty experience is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
This location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire, maintained internally.
