Responsibilities

This position provides respiratory care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include therapeutic, diagnostic, patient teaching, prevention, and patient assessment.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of respiratory physiology and comprehensive knowledge of ventilators and other technical equipment.
  • Knowledge of lab CXR data and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Care from a Regionally Accredited and CoARC certified RT program.
  • Hospital experience, including at least one year in an Intensive Care or Critical Care Unit.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of WA and active CPR/BLS certification.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Regionally Accredited and COARC certified RT program.
  • For Hyperbaric department roles, successful passing of a medical examination and renewal of certification every two years.

Pay Range

$36.15 - $53.05 per hour
