Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will ensure equipment is set up and functioning while following governmental, accrediting, and organizational policies.

You will train staff, troubleshoot CPAP/BIPAP systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities to support reimbursement and compliance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medicare-certified HME experience preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff and program managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and simple repairs per company policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report equipment hazards and incidents per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of current Respiratory Programs and HME products and services.
