Job summary

GSK is seeking a Specialty Account Specialist to support respiratory specialty providers across Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. You will develop relationships with pulmonologists, allergists, and practice managers, and deliver clinical education to advance patient access to therapies.

This field-based role requires travel within the territory, occasional overnight trips, and a commitment to compliant, evidence-driven engagement with payers and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive as required for the role.
• The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience: Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience; Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers, including pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists and practice managers.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
• Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
• Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including market access, medical affairs, and marketing.
• Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
