Job summary

GSK in Oklahoma City is seeking a Specialty Account Specialist to support pulmonology and related respiratory care providers across the territory. You will build relationships with clinicians, deliver evidence-based education, and navigate payer access to improve patient outcomes.

This field-based role requires travel within the territory and occasional overnight stays, with on-site presence in assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive as required for the role.
• Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers, including pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists and practice managers.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
• Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
• Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including market access, medical affairs, and marketing.
• Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
