Sage Specialty Hospital LTAC in Wichita Falls, TX seeks an experienced Respiratory Manager to lead a dedicated team and champion clinical excellence. You will organize and coordinate the Cardio Pulmonary Department, ensuring policy compliance, safety, and staffing needs are met.

Responsibilities include quality assurance, budgeting, payroll, and cross-department collaboration to deliver high-quality respiratory care while promoting staff development and patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Credentialed by the NBRC as CRT or RRT.
  • Current license by the State Board of Respiratory Care Examiner.
  • Minimum of three years management experience in respiratory care, preferably LTACH.
  • Must have strong management, organizational, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for department's operational excellence.
  • Ensures department delivers quality respiratory care services per policies and standards.
  • Displays effective leadership and manages payroll for the department.
  • Manages fiscal resources and cost-effective utilization across the unit.
  • Collaborates intra- and inter-departmentally to optimize resources.
  • Assesses patient and family needs and develops plans of care with the team.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and promotes infection control and safety.

Now hiring for a Respiratory Manager in Wichita Falls TX Are you a passionate respiratory care leader ready to make a meaningful impact Sage Specialty Hospital is looking for an experienced Respiratory Manager to lead a dedicated team champion clinical excellence and help shape the future of respiratory care The Respiratory Manager organizes leads manages and coordinates the activities of the Cardio Pulmonary Department HeShe carries out policies and procedures consistent with JCAHO OSHA and state and local requirements Responsibilities also include quality assurance safety infection control overseeing blood gas lab in service for staff ensures adequate budgeting and staffing is met attends contributes and participates in all committees as assigned by administration as well as the management of employees and payroll for the cardio pulmonary department

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to ensure accurate medication administration
  • Demonstrates competence in performance of procedures and utilization of equipment for medical management according to hospital policy and procedures
  • Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of respiratory care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team to ensure quality care
  • Promotes infection control principles as identified in Hospital policy and procedure
  • Promotes environmental and patient safety
