Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a CRT or RRT.
• Current license by the State Board of Respiratory Care.
• Minimum of three years management experience in respiratory care, preferably LTACH.
• Effective management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for department’s operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality respiratory care services.
• Displays effective leadership.
• Manages the fiscal resources of the department.
• Works intra- and inter-departmentally for cost-effective utilization.
• Manages human resources to ensure quality services.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates plans of care with patients and families.
• Documents care accurately to support the healthcare team.
