Job summary

Vitalograph is seeking an experienced Associate Service Technician based in Lenexa, KS to inspect, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and support respiratory diagnostic equipment.

This role combines in-house service with occasional field visits, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in medical device space.
• Troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and repair of electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and calibration procedures.
• Knowledge of quality control and regulatory requirements (QMS, ISO standards, FDA QSR).
• Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, and training.
• Collaborate to improve workflows and service efficiency while delivering excellent customer support.
• Maintain service, inspection, testing, validation, and quality records per procedures.
• Prepare equipment for shipment and coordinate with logistics and operations.
• Contribute to audits and CAPA activities and support continuous improvement.
