Job summary

Respire Homecare Services is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain and service durable medical equipment, especially respiratory devices, ensuring equipment is safe and ready for patient use. The role collaborates with Respiratory Therapists, Customer Service, Billing, and Operations within a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with durable medical equipment or medical equipment repair preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow manufacturer maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and solid documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, clean, test, and prepare equipment for patient use.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ventilators and respiratory equipment.
• Identify malfunctions and escalate safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist with inventory and storage of equipment.
