The role requires CRT or RRT certification, active or pending Illinois license, and BLS certification; you will work across med-surg, ED and critical care units, supervise learners, and participate in rounds while upholding NM standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Illinois Respiratory Care License or be eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• CRT or RRT certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Competent in all adult med surg units across respiratory therapies and modalities.
• Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy; adjust frequencies as needed.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory disease management and resources.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
