Northwestern Medicine is looking for a full-time Respiratory Care Practitioner I to provide care for acutely ill patients at the Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited respiratory therapy program, hold a CRT or RRT certification, and have an active or pending Illinois respiratory care license. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care to acutely ill patients.
• Competent in all adult med/surg units in respiratory therapies.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory disease management.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition with the healthcare team.
