Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the ICU, following the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while guiding teaching for patients and families and supervising other nursing staff.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and critical care experience or certifications and emphasizes patient privacy and confidentiality in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain standards of care and patient privacy/confidentiality.
