Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care leader to direct the Adult Cardiopulmonary services, ensuring high-quality patient care across all age groups. The role involves overseeing staff, equipment, and clinical operations, with emphasis on diagnostics, patient education, and psychosocial support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in acute/subacute respiratory care, state RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and pediatric/neurological familiarity.

Qualifications

Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
NBRC RRT certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
PALS certification required upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
NRP certification required upon hire and maintained.
Associate or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Five years of acute or subacute respiratory care experience required.
At least one year of NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads and directs the technical personnel, activities, and equipment of the Adult Cardiopulmonary services.
Promotes healing of acutely ill patients with cardiac or pulmonary involvement through respiratory care, diagnostics, education and psychosocial support.
Assists day-to-day operations of the Cardiopulmonary Department as requested.
