Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform routine cardiopulmonary procedures in PAM Health hospitals. You will maintain respiratory care equipment and provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as needed for a diverse patient population requiring extended hospital care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or willingness to learn.

Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order
Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested
Care for a diverse population of chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care
Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to deliver compassionate care and support the best possible patient outcomes

Requirements

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
• Must possess and maintain current BLS certification
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
