Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine cardiopulmonary procedures and manage respiratory care within PAM Health hospitals. The role includes phlebotomy, basic lab testing, and maintaining equipment, with a focus on compassionate patient care. Applicants must hold state licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Nevada applicants must have Blood Gas Licensure if applicable. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for patients as required or requested
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• Care for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to support compassionate patient care and recovery

Requirements

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
• Must possess and maintain current BLS certification
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
• Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn
