Job summary

PAM Health hospitals are seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine therapies and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures. You will maintain respiratory equipment and provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing for diverse patient populations.

The role focuses on care for chronically and critically ill patients in extended hospital settings, requiring current licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
