Qualificações

• 3 Years of Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree and Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active Illinois Respiratory Care License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable.
• ACCS and/or RPFT and/or AE-C and/or NPS as relevant.

Responsabilidades

• Competent in all adult med surg units in all respiratory therapies and modalities.
• Implement adult respiratory protocols and guidelines on med surg units.
• Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy; adjust frequencies as needed.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory disease management and resources.
• Be ready to work in ED, ICU and other units as assigned.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and participate in rounds.
• Evaluate and update policies based on outcomes and best practices.
