Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to provide full respiratory support across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations as prescribed by physicians. This role requires completion of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Program, Texas RCP licensure, NBRC RRT, and CPR certification prior to hire.

The incumbent will work within of a dynamic team, maintaining competency across ICU, NICU, and general care areas, and may assume charge responsibilities as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Texas Medical Board RCP licensure required.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR (AHA/Red Cross/Military) prior to hire.
• ACLS or NRP certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate need for service using protocols, assessment, and physician input.
• Deliver respiratory care per physician orders and established standards.
• Utilize cardio-respiratory knowledge to optimize care.
• Document activities in the EMR accurately.
• Serve as a resource for students, interns, and staff.
• Provide pulmonary rehab education and virtual exercise classes.
