Parkland Community Health Plan seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide full respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients per physician orders. Requires AMA-accredited education, Texas RCP license, NBRC RRT, and CPR certification; ACLS/NRP preferred.

You will work across NICU, pediatric, and adult ICU areas, documenting in the EMR, and may serve as a preceptor or charge. Pulmonary rehab education and virtual classes may also be included as part of duties.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Must hold an RCP license from the Texas Medical Board and be NBRC-registered as an RRT.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required prior to hire.
• ACLS or NRP certification preferred.
• Ability to work in NICU, pediatric, and adult ICU settings with appropriate orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate service needs using protocols, assessments, and physician input.
• Provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients as prescribed.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment and therapies.
• Document activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
• May serve as charge or preceptor and participate in staff education.
• Deliver pulmonary rehab program education and virtual exercise classes when assigned.
