Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. You will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintain equipment to ensure patient safety.

The role requires state licensure to practice respiratory care, current BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience. NV blood gas licensure applies where relevant.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients and maintains all equipment.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.

Education

State respiratory care licensure/certification

BLS and ACLS certification

Blood gas licensure (Nevada)

High school diploma; associate degree preferred

Clinical respiratory experience (1 year) preferred
