Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains and monitors all respiratory care equipment.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
